Your smile should come with peace of mind.
The Opus Smile Guarantee clearly sets out what’s covered—materials, workmanship, and structural issues on implants, crowns, veneers, bridges and more—plus how long each item is protected, including lifetime cover for implant screws.
If you can’t return to Turkey for a minor repair, we even contribute toward local fixes once approved. Keep up simple aftercare and scheduled hygiene visits, and your new smile stays protected for the long run.
What the Guarantee Covers
We stand behind the treatments provided through our partner clinics. Your guarantee applies to:
- Dental Materials – Implants, crowns, veneers, bridges, and other restorations are guaranteed against material defects.
- Workmanship – Failures caused by professional error or improper technique are covered.
- Structural Issues – Breakage, chipping, or cement failure of restorations.
- Repairs Abroad – If you cannot return to Turkey, we will contribute toward minor repairs in your home country, up to the amounts listed in the table below. Minor repairs are defined as single-tooth adjustments, small re-cementing, or chip repairs, and must be pre-approved by Opus Smile in writing.
What the Guarantee Does Not Cover
Some issues are outside the control of any dental professional. The guarantee does not cover:
- Biological Events – Natural changes such as gum recession, bone loss, infections, or periodontal disease.
- Health Conditions – Diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, chemotherapy, or any medical condition that affects healing.
- Lifestyle Factors – Smoking, poor oral hygiene, bruxism (teeth grinding), undisclosed drug or supplement use.
- Accidents or Trauma – Damage caused by accidents, sports injuries, or dropping restorations.
- Incomplete or Delayed Treatment – Treatment not completed within 12 months of consent.
- Prior Work – Treatments that began at another clinic.
- Certain Procedures – Bone grafting, sinus lifts, and root canal treatments.
- Patient Choices – Shade, size, or shape of restorations, once approved by the patient at the fitting stage.

Note: Temporary restorations are not covered under any circumstances.
Conditions That Invalidate the Guarantee
Your guarantee will no longer apply if:
- Annual professional cleaning and regular dental X-rays are not maintained (proof required).
- Treatment was not fully paid for.
- Post-treatment care instructions are not followed.
- Additional dental work is carried out elsewhere without prior approval from Opus Smile.
- Required aftercare or repair appointments are missed.
- Threatening, abusive, or discriminatory behaviour is shown towards staff.
- Removable prosthetics are not cared for correctly.
- Bruxism, clenching, nail-biting, or failure to use a gum shield (where provided) causes damage.
- Relevant medical information (e.g. pregnancy, ongoing medication) was not disclosed prior to treatment.
Replacement Treatment Limitations
The guarantee does not extend to complications caused by previous or incomplete dental work carried out elsewhere. Examples include:
- Sensitivity, infection, or misalignment from older restorations.
- Root canal treatment required following crown or bridge placement.
- Rejection of bone grafts or implant material.
- Delayed healing caused by health conditions or prior surgery.
Eligibility & Conduct
- Only fully paid treatments qualify for the guarantee.
- Treatments provided free of charge, as goodwill, or part of a promotion are excluded.
- Patients are expected to treat all staff with courtesy and respect. Failure to do so will void the guarantee.
