Clear Aligners (Near-Invisible Teeth Straightening) in Turkey
What are clear aligners?
Clear aligners are a series of custom plastic trays that fit over your teeth and apply gentle, targeted pressure.
Each set moves teeth a small step. You wear them 20–22 hours a day, changing to a new set every 1–2 weeks until your teeth reach the planned positions.
Because they are near-invisible and removable, daily life feels simple: you can eat normally, brush and floss easily, and remove them for short events when needed.
Best for: Mild to moderate crowding, spacing, relapse after braces, minor rotations and bite refinements
Duration: Typically 3–12 months (simple cases faster; complex cases longer)
The Problems Aligners Solve
Crowding: Teeth overlap or twist, making cleaning hard.
Spacing: Gaps that affect speech or smile line.
Relapse: Teeth moved after past braces drifted back.
Minor bite issues: Small overjet/overbite or crossbite refinements in suitable cases.
(For larger jaw or bite problems, fixed braces or surgery may be safer—we’ll advise honestly.)
Who is a good candidate?
You’re likely suitable if your gums are healthy, you can wear aligners consistently, and your goals match what aligners can safely achieve. If you have gum disease, untreated decay, or severe bite problems, we’ll treat or stabilise those first or discuss alternative options.
Your Aligner Journey in 6 Steps
A clear path to a straighter smile. From your digital scan to your final retainer.
Consultation & Digital Records
We take photos, digital scans, and X-rays if needed. We check your bite and gum health and discuss your smile goals in detail.
Planning & Consent
We design your case and show a clear plan: estimated aligner count, attachments, any IPR (tiny polishing for space), and timelines. You get costs and a retention plan in writing.
Fitting & First Wear
We fit the first aligners, place attachments (small tooth-coloured bumps) if required, and do IPR where planned. We teach you wear time, cleaning, and switch days.
Wear & Review
You wear aligners 20–22 hours daily and switch sets every 1–2 weeks. Reviews are in clinic or remote, depending on your case. We track fit and progress meticulously.
Refinements (if needed)
Small plan tweaks are common for precision. We add a short refinement set if certain teeth need extra movement to reach perfection.
Finish & Retainers
When we reach the goal, we fit retainers to hold the result. Options include fixed (bonded) wires, clear removable retainers, or both. You get a simple wear schedule.
Before & After Photos

Comfort, Eating & Daily Life
Attachments & IPR (What are they?)
Tiny tooth-coloured shapes bonded to specific teeth. They act like "handles" for the aligner to grip and move the tooth accurately. They are polished off at the end.
Interproximal Reduction. Very small polishing between teeth (fractions of a millimetre) to make space and prevent edges from colliding. It is painless and protects tooth proportions.
Severe rotations, very large gaps, major jaw discrepancies, and impacted teeth often need fixed braces or surgery. We will tell you upfront if aligners are the safest route for your case.
- Tracking Issues: If aligners aren't worn enough, teeth lag behind. We manage this with "chewies" or refinement scans.
- Lost Trays: We can replace sets and adjust the plan.
- Transient Lisp: Usually settles within days; sip water and speak normally to adapt.
- Relapse: Teeth want to move back. We provide a written retention plan (fixed + removable options).

Aligners vs Alternatives
Your Frequently Asked Questions About Aligners
How many hours per day must I wear them?
20–22 hours. Only remove to eat, drink hot drinks, and brush.
Will people notice?
They’re near-invisible. Close up, attachments may be seen, but most people don’t notice.
Can I drink coffee with aligners in?
Best not. Hot drinks can warp trays and stain them. Remove first, rinse, then re-insert.
Will I need attachments or IPR?
Often, yes. They help aligners grip and make safe space. Both are quick and comfortable.
What happens if I lose a tray?
Use the previous or next set (we’ll advise which) and contact us. We can order a replacement.
Do aligners hurt?
Mostly tightness for a day or two when switching sets. Simple pain relief can help.
How long will my case take?
Most cases finish in 3–12 months. We’ll estimate after scans and planning.
Will my speech change?
A slight lisp can happen for a few days. Talking normally helps you adapt quickly.
What if a tooth isn’t moving?
We add refinements, attachments, or elastics where needed to get the last 10% right.
Do I need retainers after?
Yes. Teeth can drift without them. Expect nightly wear long-term for stable results.
Can aligners fix my bite?
They can improve bites in many mild to moderate cases. Severe bites may need fixed braces or combined care.
Are aligners safe for teens?
Yes—if they can wear them reliably. We’ll review growth and wisdom teeth timing.
Cool water, soft brush, and non-abrasive cleanser. Avoid toothpaste and hot water.
Not usually. We can offer a simple temporary option in many cases while the implant heals.
Is finance available?
Where available, we’ll outline clear, safe options.
