Dental Veneers (For Shape, Colour, and Symmetry) in Turkey
What are veneers?
Veneers are thin, strong shells that bond to the front surface of teeth to change how they look and feel.
They can make a smile appear whiter, straighter, and more even while keeping most of your natural tooth in place.
Common materials are lithium disilicate (e.max) for high aesthetics and aesthetic zirconia for strength with modern translucency. Composite veneers (built directly with tooth-coloured resin) can be an option too, but porcelain veneers (e.max/zirconia) usually offer better longevity and stain resistance.
Best for: Improving colour, shape, minor alignment, small chips, and gaps in front teeth
Duration: Prep visit 60–120 minutes; lab time 5 - 6 days; fit visit 45–90 minutes
Problems Veneers Can Help With
Persistent discolouration that whitening does not fix
Worn edges, small chips, and uneven shapes
Mild crowding or small gaps (diastemas)
Teeth that are slightly rotated or short
Desire for a more even and brighter smile
Veneers change the front surface only; they do not replace missing teeth or fix severe bite issues. We’ll tell you if another treatment is safer or more suitable.
Minimal-prep where possible
We aim to preserve tooth tissue. In many cases we use minimal-prep designs that remove very little enamel. No-prep veneers are possible in select cases (e.g., to build out very small teeth), but not always safe if teeth are already prominent. We’ll explain the safest route for your smile.
The Steps…
Step 1:
Consultation & Smile Design
Photos, shade checks, and (where helpful) a 3D scan. We discuss goals, limitations, and material choices in plain English. For larger makeovers, we can do a digital or wax mock-up so you can preview the look.
Step 2:
Planning & Consent
You receive a clear written plan with timelines, costs, and named materials. We confirm how many teeth are in the smile zone and agree a shade/shape brief.
Step 3:
Preparation (minimal where possible)
Teeth are made numb if needed. We do conservative shaping of the enamel to create room for the veneer and smooth margins for bonding. In some cases, no-prep is used.
Step 4:
Impressions / Digital Scan & Temporaries
We take a precise mould or digital scan and fit temporary veneers that protect teeth and preview length/shape. We can tweak these to guide your final design.
Step 5:
Lab-Made Veneers
The lab crafts your veneers in e.max or aesthetic zirconia, matching shade and translucency to look natural under different lights.
Step 6:
Fit & bonding
We remove the temporaries, try-in the veneers, check fit, edges, and colour under natural light. Then we bond them with modern adhesive cements, tidy the margins, and polish.
Step 7:
Review & Maintenance
We check your bite, give cleaning advice, and book follow-ups. If you grind or clench, a night guard helps protect your veneers.
Before & After Photos

Comfort and Recovery
Treatment is comfortable; we use local anaesthetic when needed. Mild gum tenderness or edge sensitivity can occur for a few days and usually settles. You can eat carefully once the bonding has set (we’ll guide you on timing).
Materials at a Glance
Lithium disilicate (e.max): Beautiful translucency, excellent aesthetics, strong when bonded.
Aesthetic zirconia: High strength with improved lifelike appearance; ideal where extra durability is needed.
Composite veneers: Lower cost and same-day in some cases, but less stain-resistant and may wear sooner.
Risks and limits (and how we reduce them)
Chipping/fracture: Veneers are strong but not unbreakable. Avoid biting hard objects (ice, pen tops). Night guard helps if you grind.
Margins & gum health: Plaque at the edges can inflame gums. Daily cleaning and hygiene visits prevent this.
Colour mismatch: We choose shade carefully and check in natural light; communicate any whitening plans before shade selection.
Irreversibility: Most porcelain veneers need some enamel reduction; it’s usually minimal but not fully reversible. We only proceed when benefits clearly outweigh risks.
Veneers vs Alternatives
Whitening + bonding: Good for mild colour/shape changes with lower cost; may stain/wear sooner.
Orthodontics (Invisalign) for alignment without shaping teeth; slower, but tissue-preserving.
Crowns when the tooth is weak or heavily filled and needs full-cover strength.
Composite edge bonding for subtle length/edge repairs.
Results & Longevity
With good home care and regular reviews, porcelain veneers often last 10+ years. Composite typically shorter. Success depends on bite forces, diet, cleaning, and whether you grind. We’ll tailor material and design to your habits.
Easy Aftercare
Brush twice daily and clean at the gum edges with floss or interdental brushes
Avoid very hard or sticky foods at the edges
Wear a night guard if you clench or grind
Keep regular hygiene and check-ups
Your Frequently Asked Questions About Veneers
Will veneers look fake or too white?
No, not if planned well. We match shade and translucency to your skin tone and natural teeth for a lifelike result.
Do veneers damage my teeth?
We use minimal-prep designs where possible to preserve enamel. Some shaping is common and is not fully reversible, so we plan carefully.
Can I whiten my teeth after veneers?
Porcelain does not whiten. If you plan to whiten, do it before shade selection so veneers and natural teeth match.
How many veneers do I need?
It depends on your smile line. Some people choose 2–4, others 6–10 or full smile. We’ll show you options with photos and mock-ups.
Do veneers fix crooked teeth?
They can mask mild crowding, but orthodontics is better for moderate or severe alignment issues. We’ll advise honestly.
What if I grind my teeth?
Tell us. We choose stronger materials and recommend a night guard to protect your veneers and natural teeth.
How long do veneers last?
With good care, porcelain veneers often last 10+ years. Composite may need earlier refresh or polish.
Will my gums be sore?
Possibly mild tenderness for a day or two after prep/fit. This settles quickly with normal care.
Can a veneer come off?
It’s uncommon. If it happens, keep it safe and contact us—we can usually re-bond it if intact.
What if I only want to fix one dark tooth?
A single veneer or a crown (if the tooth is weak) can work. We’ll match shade and shape carefully.
