Dental Veneers (For Shape, Colour, and Symmetry) in Turkey

What are veneers?

Veneers are thin, strong shells that bond to the front surface of teeth to change how they look and feel

They can make a smile appear whiter, straighter, and more even while keeping most of your natural tooth in place.

Common materials are lithium disilicate (e.max) for high aesthetics and aesthetic zirconia for strength with modern translucency. Composite veneers (built directly with tooth-coloured resin) can be an option too, but porcelain veneers (e.max/zirconia) usually offer better longevity and stain resistance.

Best for: Improving colour, shape, minor alignment, small chips, and gaps in front teeth

Duration: Prep visit 60–120 minutes; lab time 5 - 6 days; fit visit 45–90 minutes

Problems Veneers Can Help With

  • Persistent discolouration that whitening does not fix

  • Worn edges, small chips, and uneven shapes

  • Mild crowding or small gaps (diastemas)

  • Teeth that are slightly rotated or short

  • Desire for a more even and brighter smile

Veneers change the front surface only; they do not replace missing teeth or fix severe bite issues. We’ll tell you if another treatment is safer or more suitable.

Minimal-prep where possible

We aim to preserve tooth tissue. In many cases we use minimal-prep designs that remove very little enamel. No-prep veneers are possible in select cases (e.g., to build out very small teeth), but not always safe if teeth are already prominent. We’ll explain the safest route for your smile.

Your Veneer Journey in 7 Steps

A clear guide to transforming your smile. From initial design to the final reveal.

01 Design

Consultation & Design

Photos, shade checks, and a 3D scan if helpful. We discuss goals and materials in plain English. For larger makeovers, we can do a digital or wax mock-up so you can preview the look.

02 Plan

Planning & Consent

You receive a clear written plan with timelines, costs, and named materials. We confirm exactly how many teeth are in the smile zone and agree on a precise shade/shape brief.

03 Prep

Preparation

Teeth are made numb if needed. We do conservative shaping of the enamel to create room for the veneer and smooth margins for bonding. In some cases, no-prep is used.

04 Preview

Impressions & Temporaries

We take a precise mould or digital scan and fit temporary veneers that protect teeth and preview length/shape. We can tweak these to guide your final design.

05 Craft

Lab-Made Veneers

The lab crafts your veneers in e.max or aesthetic zirconia, matching shade and translucency to look natural under different lights.

06 Bond

Fit & Bonding

We remove the temporaries, try-in the veneers, and check fit, edges, and colour under natural light. Then we bond them with modern adhesive cements and polish.

07 Care

Review & Maintenance

We check your bite, give cleaning advice, and book follow-ups. If you grind or clench, a night guard helps protect your veneers.

Before & After Photos

Comfort & Recovery

During Treatment Treatment is done with local anesthetic, so you are comfortable. We remove a tiny layer of enamel (minimal prep) to ensure a natural fit.
Sensitivity Phase Mild gum tenderness or sensitivity to hot/cold is normal for a few days after shaping. Eat gently until the final veneers are bonded.

Materials at a Glance

E.max (Lithium Disilicate)
The "Celebrity" Choice. Beautiful translucency that mimics natural enamel perfectly. Strong when bonded. Best for smile makeovers.
Aesthetic Zirconia
High Strength. Improved lifelike appearance compared to older zirconia. Ideal if you need extra durability due to bite force.
Composite Veneers
Budget Friendly. Lower cost and sometimes done in one visit ("Same Day"). However, they are less stain-resistant and wear down sooner.
Risks & Limitations
  • Chipping: Veneers are strong but not unbreakable. Do not bite ice, pens, or hard candy.
  • Irreversibility: Because we remove a thin layer of enamel, you will always need veneers or crowns on those teeth.
  • Colour Match: Veneers do not whiten. We usually recommend whitening your natural teeth before getting veneers to match the brighter shade.

Veneers vs Alternatives

Whitening + Bonding
Good for mild color/shape changes with lower cost. Bonding may stain or wear sooner than porcelain.
Orthodontics (Aligners)
Best for alignment without shaping teeth. It is slower (months vs days) but preserves your natural tooth tissue.
Dental Crowns
Used when the tooth is weak or heavily filled. A crown covers the whole tooth, whereas a veneer covers just the front.

Results & Longevity

10+
Years
With good home care and regular reviews, porcelain veneers typically last 10-15 years. Composite veneers typically last 3-5 years. Success depends on bite forces, diet, and cleaning habits. We’ll tailor the material to your habits.

Easy Aftercare

  • Brush twice daily & clean gum edges well
  • Avoid biting very hard or sticky foods directly
  • Wear a Night Guard if you grind or clench
  • Attend regular hygiene visits for polishing

Your Frequently Asked Questions About Veneers

Will veneers look fake or too white?

No, not if planned well. We match shade and translucency to your skin tone and natural teeth for a lifelike result.

We use minimal-prep designs where possible to preserve enamel. Some shaping is common and is not fully reversible, so we plan carefully.

Porcelain does not whiten. If you plan to whiten, do it before shade selection so veneers and natural teeth match.

It depends on your smile line. Some people choose 2–4, others 6–10 or full smile. We’ll show you options with photos and mock-ups.

They can mask mild crowding, but orthodontics is better for moderate or severe alignment issues. We’ll advise honestly.

Tell us. We choose stronger materials and recommend a night guard to protect your veneers and natural teeth.

With good care, porcelain veneers often last 10+ years. Composite may need earlier refresh or polish.

Possibly mild tenderness for a day or two after prep/fit. This settles quickly with normal care.

It’s uncommon. If it happens, keep it safe and contact us—we can usually re-bond it if intact.

A single veneer or a crown (if the tooth is weak) can work. We’ll match shade and shape carefully.
